After the release of "Figure It Out" on Network Sound Records in 1995, drummer Glenn Lasky left and was replaced by Patrick Lavin, who moved to NYC in late 1996 and was replaced by former Copper drummer Timothy Turcott. In late 1997 founding member and guitarist J. Peter Hickey moved and left the band. Though a productive time on the stage, opening for the likes of Swervedriver, Hum, and Texas is Reason, the "Glider" era was a tumultuous time for the band personnel-wise in addition to the fact that Network Sound Records folded leaving the band without a label to release this recording.
